If you haven't been to the Hills of Home festival yet you don't know what you're missing!
This festival is an old time bluegrass
music tradition started by Dr. Ralph Stanley and continuing today in his honor. Ralph Stanley II started managing the festival six
years ago, earning his dad's confidence and trust, and he takes great pride in continuing to honor his dad by making the festival
a true tribute to the legendary Dr. Ralph Stanley and continuing to bring talented bluegrass musicians to the stage for the fans.

a few new things going on this year so be sure and make plans to come on up to the festival!
- The festival is honored to have received
a Music Festival Grant from the Virginia Tourism Corporation (VTC) this year and looks forward to having VTC as a part of the
festival. Look for the LOVEwork sign near the stage! Be sure to visit the Virginia Tourism Corporations's website (www.Virginia.org)
to see all the great events going on throughout the state!
- Wednesday Night - Open Mic night from 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. If you're
interested, we will have a sign up sheet at the stage area Wednesday afternoon. There will be 30-minute slots available, first come
- Friday Night - Golf Cart Parade. For all you folks with golf carts get your decorations ready! We're having a Golf Cart
Parade through the campground Friday night after the show. There will be a Grand Prize (and of course bragging rights) for the
best decorated cart! Additional details will be announced at the festival - just be sure to bring those decorations! (If you
want to sign up in advance just shoot us an email and we'll get you signed up!)
Come on home for the weekend!
